National Tree Day 2019
National Tree Day was timely this year, fitting into a broader school program to establish a new nature space within the school grounds. This year, the Grade 3 students have been looking at how best to enhance the school’s natural space, with a focus on native plants. Tree planting is a symbol of one of the ways the students at Riverside Primary are learning to make a positive difference to their environment.
